Civil Engineer - Drainage Design

First People Solutions is working with a successful engineering company in the Glasgow area that is looking for experienced Civil Engineers to join their growing Engineering Design team. Providing design, construction, and maintenance services to key clients across the UK, our client offers their expertise in various sectors, including Commercial, Healthcare, Industrial, and Residential.

Key Responsibilities:
Provide input on all aspects of civil projects, including concept design, design, implementation, and maintenance upgrades
Ensure documents, designs and drawings comply with design standards, industry best practice, and client expectations
Assist in the communication with clients, regulators and other stakeholders, and preparation of bids and proposals
Attendance at design meetings
Work alongside engineering teams and associated consulting engineers
What we need from you:
Degree in Civil Engineering
3 years of experience working within an engineering design environment
Proven experience undertaking technical and feasibility studies
Knowledge of sustainable urban drainage systems (SuDS), road drainage design & foul storm water drainage
Proficient with relevant design software (Civil 3D, Microdrainage, InfoDrainage)
Full clean driving license
