Graduate Structural Engineer | Somerset | £25k - £28k
Graduate Structural Engineer looking for the perfect place to start your career within engineering? Are you hoping to be exposed to various areas within engineering, not just focus on one ‘task' or ‘department'?
We are currently working with a specialist in the construction industry that employs roughly 160 people, making them one of the largest steel fabricators in England. This company is a specialist in steel connection design, optimizing its designs to suit fabrication. The successful candidate will be given the chance to work on a huge range of projects from stadiums to retail outlets and some nuclear projects.
Additionally, this company are considered an MOD and MOJ project specialist, giving you the chance to work on numerous NDA projects across the UK. Many of the designs produced take anti-terrorism measures into consideration, meaning they must design their connections to prevent buildings from collapsing in the event of an explosion or similar.
The successful candidate will have some amazing training, being exposed to design, site, and estimation, alongside other elements of completing projects. You'll also have the chance to see your designs come to life as the office and factory are combined!
Required Skills/Qualifications:
Relevant degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
Experience working with AutoCAD & Revit Structures in a similar position - Not essential.
Knowledge of different construction methods and UK building regulations.
Strong organisational and planning skills with a passion for sustainable design. What is on offer to the successful Structural Technician?
