Penguin Recruitment are working with a UK leading, Geotechnical and Geo-environmental Contractors in their search for a Geotechnical Engineer in Glasgow.
This exciting opportunity offers the chance to join an expanding geotechnical team, working on a diverse range of projects throughout the inception, design and construction stages. My client is looking for a motivated leader who will collaborate with team members and provide mentorship to support co-workers' growth.
Our client is looking for candidates with a suitable number of years' experience in the industry and a degree in a relevant field (Geology, Geotechnics, Civil Engineering etc). Applicants are required to have a full UK driving license and be willing to work on site 50% of the time.
The main duties of the role include:
Interpretive and factual report writing
Phase 1 desk studies
Phase 2 ground investigations
Working on site investigation projects from start to finish
Managing and collecting site data
