Vertical Recruitment had an exciting opportunity for a structural engineer to join an established and reputable team in Manchester. Our client is a major international multi-disciplinary consultancy, operating across the UK, Ireland, Netherlands, the MENA region, India, and China. Our client has a leading track record in all major sectors including health, education, workplace, retail, urbanism, heritage, housing, transport, leisure, public safety and energy utilities, and have won over 750 awards for design quality from international and national.

You will play an active role in the creation of large scale sustainable buildings and undertake a variety of technical tasks on diverse projects, across a number of sectors that include healthcare, education, retail and workplace.

About you

* They are looking for a passionate structural engineer with previous design, technical, and software skills experience to join their Manchester Office.

* In this role you will be involved with the development of designs and the production of construction information for the delivery of major national and international projects.

* You will be a Structural Engineer with considerable within a leading design firm that includes developing structural designs for building structures.

* You will have good communication skills, be self-organised, have a passion for structural design, enjoy working within a motivated team, and have an enthusiasm for architecture and building design.

* You will be able to demonstrate excellent technical aptitude and have experience in use of varied structural design analysis software. Experience of Tekla Structural Designer, TEDDS, Staad PRO and Etabs would be beneficial.

* Experience of working within a BIM environment is desirable with knowledge of Revit beneficial.
