Due to continued growth my client is recruiting for two Site Engineers with proven water treatment experience. They are a leading industrial and commercial water treatment solutions provider. Their ideal candidate will have an electrical and mechanical engineering hands on background with water treatment related equipment and be happy to travel to various customer sites to service, install and commission water treatment systems in Southern UK.
Site Engineer Role:
Reporting to the Site Engineer Team Leader you will be responsible for:
* The servicing, maintenance, commissioning, installation and provision of technical support on the complete range of water technologies products and solutions.
* On site repairs, inspections, fault finding and making recommendations to external customers
* Commissioning of equipment / systems which may include the supervision of others including sub-contractors
* Maintain "As Built Drawings" (electrical, mechanical, P&I) through to final Commissioning in order to ensure that O&M manuals can be updated as may be required
* Work to the company and statutory Health and Safety requirements.
* complete all related paperwork with regards to jobs carried out in the agreed timescale produce. reports as required by the Site Engineer Team Leader.
* Liaise with the Site engineer team leader regularly during the day and on leaving site.
* Offer feedback to the team leader with regard to any issues related to works undertaken.
* Ensure expenses are sensibly managed and submitted on time.
* Attend the regular departmental and company meetings.
* Carry out other relevant duties within the remit of the job as and when required by the Site Engineer Team Leader and Project Manager.
Site Engineer Requirements:
* Proven field service / site experience within water treatment waste water or related industry.
* Dealing with Customers from various types of businesses
* Strong organizing skills, with the ability to prioritize and multi-task
* MS Office including Word, Excel
* Ability to work with minimal supervision.
* Confidence to make decisions and be able to take ownership
* Problem Analysis
* Planning and Organising
* Hold an up to date driving licence.
* Able to travel and work in different geographical locations with variable nights away
* Able to work at remote sites individually or as part of a team
* Exceptional customer service skills and effective communication both verbal and written.
Site Engineer Package:
Competitive salary (up to £40k) dependant on experience.
Company vehicle.
23 days annual leave, plus Bank Holidays.
