Contract Geotechnical Engineer
A small well established engineering consultancy in Kent is looking to hire a Contract Intermediate Geotechnical Engineer for a minimum 6-month assignment.
Our client is working on the design of a major UK port redevelopment and needs assistance with their technical design.
The successful candidate will be working on detailed designs for embedded retaining walls (bored piled and diaphragm walls) and deep foundations. A thorough working knowledge of numerical modelling in embedded wall design using PLAXIS 2D is an essential requirement and experience in reinforced concrete design would be a distinct advantage.
Our client is looking to start the right candidate immediately and they can offer a hybrid working model.
Our clients' offices are based in Kent and have excellent links to the M25 and M20.
On offer is an hourly rate of between £32-35 p/h Ltd on an Outside IR35 basis.
