Senior Structural Engineer

We are currently dealing with an ever-growing Engineer consultancy who are looking at recruiting a Senior Structural Engineer to be based in Manchester working on a range of projects which includes undertaking fatigue analysis among other schemes working within a Structural design, which can include projects such as airport hangers. Typical duties of the Senior Structural Design Engineer can include, but not limited to:

Represent the consultancy at internal and external design team meetings
Visit sites to carry out structural inspections
Undertake detail design calculations and plan, manage and supervise technicians in the production of Revit models and technical drawing deliverables.
Use analytical and design software
Take a lead role as a senior structural engineer within a team, helping to deliver a variety of challenging building projects, from concept through to detailed design and on site

Job Requirements

Experience in fatigue analysis
Experience in using Robot or similar
Ability to contribute to and coordinate production of high-quality engineering deliverables, such as option appraisals, drawings, calculations, reports, specifications and construction documents, with attention to detail
Familiar with the relevant codes, such as Eurocodes
6 + years structural engineering experience
