Geo-Environmental Engineer

I am looking to speak with a Geo-Environmental Engineer situated in Milton Keynes, looking for the opportunity to work within an independent multi-disciplinary consultancy to support the delivery of prestigious projects in residential, commercial, and industrial sectors.

As a Geo-Environmental Engineer your roles and responsibilities include undertaking Geotechnical and Geo-Environmental site investigations such as gas and water monitoring, the logging and sampling of soil and rock, foundation inspections and gas and groundwater monitoring.

The successful Geo-Environmental Engineer will also have the opportunity top get involved in supervision of earthworks, remediation, and validation strategies. It is expected that you will undertake the preparation of factual and interpretive reporting.

As a Geo-Environmental Engineer, it is expected that:

Be able to log samples to BS5930 technical standard. Knowledge of Holebase software an advantage.
A working knowledge of the principal soil and rock strata encountered in the UK.
The ability to interpret geological maps and published geological data.
Ability to produce basic AutoCAD drawings as required is preferable but not essential.
Full driving licence and the use of a car (for occasional site visits when a van is not available, or for travel to other offices). A pool van or hire van will be available for site work.
