Associate Civil Engineer

Associate Civil Engineer permanent, full time

Location: Bristol Salary: negotiable and based on experience

We've got a great opportunity for a highly experienced Civil Engineer to join our client's established Civil and Structural Consultancy and manage a team of multi-disciplinary professionals.

You will be working on a wide range of projects including commercial, retail, leisure and residential builds. Furthermore, you will have a chance to actively take part in the growth and future of the company.

About you

• You must have a relevant degree and Chartered status;
• You must be a member of ICE or IStructE
• You must have a track record of managing and leading a team including Graduate Engineers, Technicians, and junior staff
• You must have a good experience in developing and maintaining client base, seeking new business opportunities, and ensuring client's satisfaction
• Be vocal about improving the business and make recommendations to increase efficiency
• You have an excellent report writing and communication skills

Technical skills required for this Associate Civil Engineer role

• Extensive experience with design and delivery of drainage and infrastructure projects
• Good knowledge of Section 38 and 278 for highways
• Good knowledge of Section 104 and 106 for drainage
• Strong understanding of UK Building regulations, Codes of Practice and Design standards
• High proficiency in MicroDrainage and Civil 3D
