What you'll be doing

As a Graduate Civil/StructuralEngineer with RPS you will be involved in projectsfrom energy, transportation and buildings, working in the design &assessment of different structures, such as foundations for wind turbines,bridges and other structures .
  • Supportingthe Principal and Technical Director in the technical delivery of projects.
  • Attendingand contributing to project / client meetings and undertaking site inspectionsas required.
  • Conductingactivities and producing outputs in line with relevant legislation and industrystandards.
  • Completingdesigns based on guidance from Line Manager, applying sound technical knowledgerelevant to the role.


Who we're looking for
To be considered as Graduate Engineer, youwill need to have achieved a relevant degree in MEng (or MSc) Civil Engineeringor Structural Engineering ideally with a specialisationin structural design and a good technical knowledge of the basics of principlesof structural engineering. A basic understanding of Finite Element Modellingwill be desirable but not essential.
We will also expect you to be driven towards a career as a chartered Engineerwith the enthusiasm and commitment required to succeed. Friendly, openness anda willingness to learn and develop are all things that will help you besuccessful in this role.
