We are searching for an established M&E Manager to join our Civil Engineering Team on developments in Northern Ireland, the role will involve the management of Mechanical & Electrical disciplines for civil engineering projects and tenders. This is a highly demanding key role with key inputs throughout project lifecycles.

We are searching for an established M&E Manager to join our Civil Engineering Team on developments in Northern Ireland, the role will involve the management of Mechanical & Electrical disciplines for civil engineering projects and tenders. This is a highly demanding key role with key inputs throughout project lifecycles.
Aspects of the role include:
- Discuss project objectives, requirements and budgets with clients, M&E and site staff, and with the Engineering Director
- Participate and lead discipline meetings and design reviews with M&E personnel.
- Lead the liaison with clients, client-representatives, designers, sub-contractors, third parties and stakeholders as required, to ensure acceptance of design and resolution of technical queries, relating to the M&E within the civil works.
- Ensure all M&E deliverables have been thoroughly examined and detailed during the tendering, ECI and construction delivery stages for technical content, drawing quality and adherence to codes/project requirements.
- Ensure that design solutions are cost effective, reliable, robust and meet the project programme.
- Provide oversight and assistance with writing and editing of documents, specifications and equipment selection for M&E systems and devices, including the review of plant and equipment selections from specialist subcontractors, manufacturers, or vendors.
- Establish design standards and procedures to manage the work of staff, as well as the project teams, by assisting in the review of quality assurance and quality control evaluations.
- Work as an integral member of the project delivery teams, providing M&E related technical expertise and support to the commercial, estimating, planning, procurement, quality, safety, and site teams.
- Conduct or delegate job-site inspections, to ensure projects are adhering to specifications and design intent and participate in reviews for compliance in relation regulations.
- Ensure project documentation and handover files, comply with all company and regulatory quality requirements and satisfy client expectations, for content and format.
