Civil Infrastructure Engineer

Innotech Partners are looking for a Civil Infrastructure Engineer that specialises in drainage and highway design to join a seasoned and well established design consultancy business in the Civil Sector. Due to rapid company growth, we're looking for an experienced person to slot into a fast developing team with the demand for further development and progression for you along the journey.

Looking to work on a variety of operations from small to large scale? This role will reward you with exactly that. Your day to day operations will based out of Derby and include a mixture of site visiting/inspections and office based design work with a progressive and talented group of consultants. Specialising in Drainage and Highway Design, you will become a core member of the team and leading from the back, working on projects from residential estates to schools and more!

Key responsibilities for this role are as follows but not limited to:

• Production of concept and detailed design documentation.
• Understanding of CAD programs like; Bluebeam/Revit/AutoCAD/Tekla.
• Ability to produce Pre-construction information.
• Contract technical specifications.
• Development and maintenance of planning schedules.
• Monitor progress of projects with visitations and inspections.
• Review and verification of other design documentation within the individual's skill set.

The right candidate for this role will display:

• Brilliant technical understanding of highway design, road structure and drainage routes.
• Excellent determination to complete project reports within a given time frame.
• Driven to secure new projects for business while bidding on other projects.
• Thrive on the idea of varied project scales.

We require applicants to have:

• A minimum of 4 years' experience in design of Hghway/Drainage design
• Previous experience as an engineering consultant or management position.
• Minimum of Bachelors in a relevant field.
• UK Driver licence
• UK Right to work
