Responsible for the efficiency of a companys day-to-day business operations. Their duties include organising staff, distributing budgets and setting efficiency, sales and profit targets.

This is an independent recruitment company with a Head office in Manchester, currently at 3 branches and looking to grow through Leeds and North West to oversee all the business operations across the company. This requires a mixture of administrative, financial and leadership and sales skills.

They are also responsible for establishing efficient operational procedures that allow employees to meet their targets on a daily basis, while simultaneously keeping the business costs down. The most important task of the Director of Operations is to contribute to the long-term growth of the business. Their main responsibilities include:

• Establishing operational tasks, policies and procedures for company employees
• Reviewing existing operations and finding areas for development and growth
• Evaluating members of staff and enacting disciplinary proceedings, where needed
• Hiring outside managers or promoting new leaders from within
• Providing opportunities for staff training, development and advancement within the company
• Upholding company policies and values while leading by example at all times
