ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

Extract data from maps, charts, drawings, reports, and field observations.  (15%) Produce CADD drawings of limited complexity and perform basic GIS data entry. (15%) Summarize data, perform calculations, make preliminary analyses, and present results in the form of maps, charts, drawings, and reports.  (15%) Perform basic construction inspection for Public Works infrastructure and erosion control.  Must be eligible to operate a city vehicle, possess a valid driver’s license and have an acceptable driving record.  (15%) Assist engineers in other public works related tasks.  (30%) Maintain various records related to activities and findings.  (10%)

WORKING CONDITIONS:

Work is performed both indoors and outdoors, which includes exposure to all types of weather condit

Works under the general supervision of the Civil Engineer. May perform work some work under the supervision of other engineers.
