My Client is a mid-sized, Civil and Structural Engineering Consultancy who can offer this perfect opportunity to a Graduate Structural Engineer with some industry related experience who is ready to join a company who can really help to elevate their career in a progressive and structured role. As a Graduate Structural Engineer you will be working under the supervision of a team of experienced and highly skilled Senior Team Members. The role will initially involve you undertaking the structural design of a variety of residential based schemes (many fairly large developments) from which you will build your career foundations and knowledge. Once these fundamental skills are solidified you will be provided with the opportunity to work on a solid range of structural design schemes which can span across the construction sector; developing your design skills and understanding of all common build materials. This position offers the perfect opportunity to really solidify your understanding of structures and broaden you skills, expertise and your horizons!
With a good educational background and a strong degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (BSc, BEng, MSc or MEng) you will have ideally gained post-graduate industry related design experience of ideally / approximately 12 months minimum from which you will have gained an understanding of the basic principals of structural design and engineering. You will be methodical in your work, have a mathematical mindset and will possess a precise eye for detail and accuracy.
