Location: York
Salary : £38 000 - £42 000 - negotiable depending on experience

We are looking for an experienced structural engineer to join our client's busy office based in York.

Our client is looking for a Senior Structural Engineer to become a part of their vibrant team of highly skilled engineers.

In this role you will be working independently and within a team on a variety of projects for variety of clients, from initial feasibility studies through design to completion. Typical projects for this role will include structural engineering of infrastructure - rail enhancement, level crossing renewals, bridge assessments.

Requirements for this Structural Engineer role:

Chartered Engineer status (preferable)
Experience in the design of bridges and rail
High proficiency using a range of professional software (AutoCAD, Tekla, Tedds, Revit, Robot, Fastrack)
Proven track record of delivering designs in range of materials including timber, steel, reinforced concrete and masonry
Good knowledge of UK Codes of Practice and Regulations
Ability to lead bids and tenders, with experience of work winning and developing Client relationships.
Experience liaising with stakeholders, managers, suppliers, independent checkers and local authorities
Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team
Driving licence (desirable)The benefits:
