Structural Engineer | Hampshire - Ringwood | £30,000 - £40,000
I'm currently working with a multi-disciplinary engineering consultancy in Ringwood that is looking to add a Structural Engineer to their team to help manage projected workloads. They are looking for someone to come in and hit the ground running, due to having some major projects starting soon - such as one at Olympic Park.
The consultancy in question work on large projects across numerous sectors including Leisure, Residential, Commercial, Industrial, Education, and more! They've been involved in projects valued up to and over £50 million and have no interest in getting involved in small projects such as loft conversions and extensions.
You'll be joining a team of almost 30 individuals who work together across disciplines, collaborating with the use of BIM up to level 2 standard. The consultancy has a focus on the Structural Engineering side of the market with 2/3 of staff focusing their efforts on this. Additionally, you can expect to learn and develop thanks to working with a group of highly talented individuals who are renowned for punching above their weight and competing with some of the biggest consultancies.
Requirements for this Structural Engineer position include;
BEng/MEng Civil or Structural Engineering degree.
Fully competent in using relevant design software - Revit/AutoCAD.
Very high level of technical competence and a great understanding of building structures.
You'll be working towards Chartership.
You'll be a great team player and work well with clients, solving issues and coming up with creative solutions.
Passionate about developing into a well-rounded Engineer who can lead major projects from conception to completion. Some great benefits are also on offer to the successful Structural Engineer:
Hybrid working - 2 Days WFH
Support toward career-related goals such as Chartership.
25 Days annual leave + B/H
Private Health Care
Company Pension
