A leading name in the UK construction industry has an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Planning Engineer to join their growing team. Do to continued growth they are looking strengthen their planning capabilities with an Assistant Planning Engineer to provide support to their projects at tender and contract stages.
The Assistant Planning Engineer will work closely with the planning team to ensure the successful delivery of our projects. They will be responsible for assisting in the preparation of project plans, scheduling, and monitoring progress against targets. They will also be involved in the preparation of tender and contract documents, ensuring that they are compliant with client requirements and relevant legislation.
The successful candidate will have a degree in a relevant field and experience working in a planning role within the construction industry. They will have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. In addition they will have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be proficient in the use of Asta Powerproject planning software.
Hold a construction related qualification - HND/HNC/Degree
Site based experience gained within UK main contracting
Previous experience using Asta Powerproject
Strong communication skills
Construction industry experience
