Mechanical Project Engineer-Pre Construction

Skilled careers are working with a leading M&E contractor with a turnover of £200m and an excellent reputation delivering across the commercial, data centre and healthcare sectors for leading Main Contractors who require an mechanical engineer to join their team. Based on a project office in Hertfordshire you will work closely with their bid and pre-construction team acting as a link between external design consultants and the project teams.

The company in question are open to people coming from a design consultancy or contracting background, people from a design background or a project engineer with pre construction experience will be considered.

The ideal candidate will ideal have 5-7 years experience in the industry and report directly to a design director working closely with pre-construction and site teams.

Duties:

• Bid analyses
• Review and management of design and scope of works
• Issuing tech subs and RFI's Programming and sequencing of electrical package
• Assisting in commercial control of associate works Project reporting
• Attending meeting as required relating to design, progress and client specifications.

Desired Experience Degree or HNC/D in Building Services or Mechanical Engineering
