Salary : £40 000 - £50 000 - depending on experience

We are looking for an experienced structural engineer to join our client's busy office based in Edinburgh.

Our client is looking for a Senior Structural Engineer to become a part of their vibrant multi-disciplinary team.

In this role you will be working closely with Senior Managers to deliver the projects involving precast concrete and detailing. The projects range from small refurbishments and residential extensions to large developments like warehouses, hospitals and office blocks. The role has exciting benefits, can be arranged remotely for more experienced candidates, and provides great progression opportunities.

Requirements for this Structural Engineer role:

Chartered Engineer status (preferable)
Experience in the design of precast concrete elements, ideally with precast concrete manufacturer (preferable)
High proficiency using a range of professional software (AutoCAD, Tekla, Tedds, Revit, Robot, Fastrack)
Proven track record of delivering designs in range of materials including timber, steel, reinforced concrete and masonry
Experience in foundation design
Recent and extensive experience of detailed design for residential schemes
Good knowledge of UK Codes of Practice and Regulations
Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team
Driving licence (desirable)The responsibilities of Senior Structural Engineer:

Providing the relevant input to designers for their CAD drawing and Revit model generation
Providing design for precast concrete elements
