Graduate Environmental Engineer - Reading | £24,000-£25,000

This role is with an established engineering and environmental consultancy based in Reading. You'll be joining a close-knit team with lots of support for progression.

Working within the Environmental Department assisting with the preparation of a range of Environmental Assessments including Flood Risk Assessments, Water Framework Directive Assessments and Environmental Impact Assessments as well as undertaking Land Contamination and Waste Resource Management studies.

In this Graduate Environmental Engineer position, you will also assist with the preparation of Flood Management and Drainage Strategies and undertake the design of Flood Management and Sustainable Drainage schemes for a range of infrastructure projects including energy, nuclear, and MOD projects.
There is also the opportunity of assisting with Hydrological and Hydraulic Modelling of river basins and flood catchments.

You will have the opportunity to progress with an accredited Graduate Training Programme with Both the Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE) and the Chartered Institution of Water and Environmental Management (CIWEM) which will assist you with progress towards Chartered Status through either Institution.
