FPS is working with a successful Consulting Engineer who is looking for Geotechnical Engineers to join their ground engineering team. Our client provides engineering and design solutions to a wide range of important sectors both in the UK and overseas. This role provides a unique opportunity to be a part of a successful team, be involved in large and exciting geotechnical projects on an international scale and be part of a forward-thinking company.

Job

Prepare and check design calculations and specifications for geotechnical works such as bearing capacity, settlement, slope stability, earthworks, etc
Conduct feasibility studies, ground investigations and design
Assist in the delivery of the design of geotechnical elements of existing and future projects
Prepare calculations, drawings and relevant documents and ensuring these are monitored during project lifecycle

What we need from you:

Degree in Civil Engineering, Geology, Earth Science or equivalent
3 years of professional experience working with a geotechnical consultancy in the UK
Relevant experience, knowledge and skill of geotechnical principal and standards
Knowledge of relevant geotechnical software
Full UK driving licence
