Structural Engineer

Girling Jones is working with a leading engineering consultancy firm based in Somerset. My client is seeking a skilled and motivated Structural Engineer to join the team in Taunton. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering a range of structural engineering projects, from initial design through to completion.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct structural analysis and design using relevant software and tools
Prepare technical reports and calculations
Liaise with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders
Attend site visits and inspections
Assist with project management, including budgeting and scheduling
Mentor and guide junior staff members Qualifications and Skills:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
Professional registration with the Engineering Council or a relevant professional body
Minimum of 5 years experience in structural engineering
Proficient in using relevant software and tools, such as AutoCAD, Revit, and structural analysis software
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong project management and organizational skills
