My client, a market leading, UK based Environmental Consultancy, is searching for a Civil Engineer to join their friendly and supportive team of Engineers and Consultants based in Brighton.

Applicants are required to have a MSc and BSc in Civil Engineering or Coastal Engineering and have experience working for a UK based Consultancy completing Marine, Ports and Coastal Projects.

Candidates are required to specialise in detailed design using AutoCAD for waterside structures including Marinas, Quay Walls, Tidal Walls, Slipways, Jetties and/or Coastal Flood Defence or Flood Gates.

As a Civil Engineer you will have the opportunity to join an experienced Team of Engineers in central Brighton. You will have the opportunity to complete Coastal, Marine, Ports and Harbour Projects for UK and international Clients.

You will be expected to complete detailed design of the following;

Port Masterplanning
Jetties, Quays, Slipways and Piers
Marinas and Locks/Dock Gates
Marine Renewable Energy
Coastal Sea Defence.The opportunity will offer training and support from an experienced team of engineers. You will also have the opportunity to liaise with clients based in the UK and overseas.
