Graduate Geo-Environmental Engineer

We are working with a successful SME Ground Investigation Company with an urgent requirement for a Graduate Geo-Environmental Engineer based out of their Milton Keynes office.

Our client works with small to medium house builders, quarry operators and industrial/commercial businesses. This position also includes some optional hybrid working.

Role:

Carry out Geotechnical Site Appraisals and Site Contamination Assessments from Stage 1 Tier 1 to Stage 3.
Factual report writing.
Scheduling contamination, waste classification and geotechnical laboratory testing.
Supervise both geo-environmental and geotechnical site investigations using all techniques commonly employed.
Carry out infiltration testing.
Understanding of interpretative geotechnical report writing.
Liaison with subcontractors.

The successful applicant:

Will have a background within a similar role.
Demonstrable background in managing ground investigation fieldworks on site, and geo-environmental consultancy projects.
A good understanding of site investigation techniques /contaminated land assessment .
A relevant degree.
Full clean driving licence; trailer licence a positive - or ability to obtain one.
