Hunter Masons client are seeking a senior, experienced installation engineer based in water leak detection and protection to join their expanding team. The role is based in Wiltshire.

Installation of leak detection equipment; delivering first and second fix installation works (general wiring, panel mounting, circuit board termination, minor containment etc) minor programming, testing, commissioning and witnessing processes; undertaking planned preventative maintenance visits; completing site surveys and building customer quotations; attend customer meetings in a technical capacity; completion of necessary paperwork within agreed timescales.

Support the sales team in calculating installation quotes; support office-based colleagues with technical guidance and support; respond to customer technical enquiries.

Responsibilites:

* Undertake all required administrative tasks related to practical site work;

* completion of risk assessments and method statements, ongoing completion of required competency certification and qualifications;

* timely completion and submittal of work sheets/commissioning documentation; work scheduling and reliable inbox management

* work with accounts department to ensure timely invoicing of works; production of purchase orders, allocate and despatch materials etc.

* Support the business in continuing product development and innovation; helping to develop ideas and design of new products, ongoing improvements of existing products, and helping to improve internal processes of the business.

* Ensure customers receive a high level of customer service at all times.

You must have:

* Practical electrical background or bias, with knowledge of control panels/alarm systems, common electronic components, wiring of systems.

* Full UK Driving licence with personal vehicle.

* Hold current CSCS card qualification (preferred not essential).

* Highly motivated and able to work individually and within a team. The role demands someone who can reliably work autonomously or as part of a small team on larger projects.

* Good problem-solving and communication skills, with a strong work ethic.

* Excellent team player, both with site based colleagues and as part of larger team within the office, often collaborating across departments.

* Excellent IT skills with Microsoft. Ideally some exposure/experience to programming packages for system configuration, PLC set-up etc, and AutoCAD
