A reputable engineering consultancy firm based in Manchester is looking for a Senior Structural Engineer to join their team of 8 engineers operating in the North West. This company has a strong reputation for providing a range of Civil and Structural Services.

Requirements:

Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
Minimum of 8 years' experience in structural engineering design and analysis
Proficiency in Robot software
Experience in fatigue analysis of existing buildings in the aviation sector and static analysis of buildings and structures
Chartered Engineer status with either ICE or IStructE (or approaching)
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Responsibilities:

Lead structural design and analysis of buildings and structures in various sectors
Oversee the work of junior engineers and liaise with clients and other professionals
Focus on fatigue analysis of existing buildings in the aviation sector and static analysis of buildings and structures
Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations
Collaborate with other teams within the company to deliver projects on time and to a high standard
