Engineering and Energy Manager

We assist our Clients, building services and contractors, with the procurement of the best talent in the region. For a leading building services contractor working in the retail space, we are looking for an Engineering and Energy Manager.

This senior role is at an early stage, albeit our Client is committed to making a hire for the role. That said, we are a little limited in the details of the day-to-day duties. What we do know is what our Client is looking to achieve with the hire.

My Client is a major retail-focused contractor working with large national retail organisations up and down the Country. As we all know, energy costs have become a significant issue and particularly for large companies with huge estates of big properties. Physical retails, such as supermarkets, are particularly affected by energy price increases and, as such, as looking at ways to reduce their overheads as well as their carbon footprint. That is where this role comes into play.

We are looking for an experienced building services professional with a passion for renewables, energy efficiency and how the various technologies can be deployed to benefit large end user Clients. In this role, you will consult with the Clients of this building services contractor in order to assist them in all things energy-related.

This is a new role within a very established contractor that has seen significant expansion in recent years. As they are on the bring of further growth they see this role as key to being able to offer their clients the very best service.
