We are recruiting a Structural Engineer to join an established multidisciplinary consultancy in Plymouth. The successful Structural Engineer will be working on a wide range of building structures projects across the residential, commercial, health, education, and defence sectors. You can expect to work on complex projects to BIM Level 2 standards and collaborate with talented construction professionals across all disciplines.

Requirements for this Structural Engineer position include;

BEng/MEng Civil or Structural Engineering degree
Experience working as a Structural Engineer in a similar consultancy environment will be needed
Chartered status with the IStructE or ICE would be preferred, or they can help you get there if you are progressing!
Structural design experience and structural analysis skills in all common structural materials including steel, concrete, timber, and masonry
Capable of working with the relevant engineering design software
All the other usual communication and presentation skills will be important as you will be representing the company while directly liaising with clients and helping to grow the business. The successful Structural Engineer will be joining a diverse team that works from comfortable and accessible offices in Plymouth. You can expect to receive comprehensive support and training in any areas where you are less experienced and will be working alongside a talented team of Engineers.
