Our renowned Client, a Global Energy Company, are currently seeking a Structural Engineer to work with them on a Temporary Agency Worker contract in the UK. The role and its responsibilities shall include, but are not limited to the following:-
Applicants must have a robust and proven track record working directly for Oil & Gas Operating Companies within the energy sector.
Provide integrity management and technical support for all fixed, floating and topsides structures.
Support the client's decommissioning and re-purposing operations on assets.
Monitoring topside and subsea structural integrity status, reporting on a regular basis.
Provide quality control and assurance to maintain asset integrity for facility modifications and projects.
Regular surveillance of systems integrity to intervene in potential issues, provide troubleshooting and maintain high level of safety and performance.
Applications are invited from candidates with a degree in a relevant engineering discipline.
The successful incumbent will have previous experience working asset integrity for pipelines.
Candidates will have good working knowledge of integrity management of pipelines and experience on pressure systems.
This is a predominantly onshore role, however regular offshore visits will be required therefore all industry competency certification (BOSIET with CA-EBS, Medical and MIST) must be valid.
