Profile

Our client, a successful and diverse water treatment/water hygiene company who work across the UK to deliver a broad range of water services, are currently recruiting for a committed and experienced Water Hygiene Engineer based in the Ashford area. The successful candidate will have previous experience working in a similar water hygiene role delivering legionella compliance tasks to a varied site base in line with the ACOP L8 guidelines.

Applications will be considered from - Maidstone, Dartford, Ashford, London, Chelmsford, Colchester, Braintree, Basildon, Stevenage, Watford, Guildford, Woking, Reading, Newbury, Slough, and Bexleyheath.

Experience / Qualifications:

" The successful Water Hygiene Engineer will hold experience working in a similar water hygiene role on a variety of sites in line with ACOP L8.
" Excellent communication skills.
" Proficient in using Microsoft Office Package.

The Role:

" Carrying out tank cleans, descales, remedial works, flushing systems and disinfections of main water systems.
" Changing and replacing tanks.
" Cleaning and chlorination on both hot and cold-water systems and cooling towers.
" Conducting routine sampling and analysing water systems.
" Carrying out temperature monitoring.
" Providing reports.
" Carrying out plumbing work as and when required.
