Job Title: Temporary Works Civil Engineer

Location: Birmingham Design Office (Hybrid)

Salary: £55,000 to £60,00

We are currently seeking a skilled Senior Temporary Works Civil Engineer to join an established design team in Birmingham. As a Temporary Works Civil Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and coordinating temporary works solutions on civil projects, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and industry standards. You will also liaise with project teams and external stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of designs and provide technical support.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Design temporary works solutions in accordance with relevant standards
• Liaise with project teams and external stakeholders to ensure compliance with design specifications
• Ensure health and safety risks associated with temporary works are identified and managed effectively
• Provide technical support and guidance on temporary works matters
• assess design reports, calculations, and drawings as required

Key Skills and Qualifications:

• Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent
• Experience in temporary works design and coordination
• Knowledge of relevant codes and standards, such as BS5975, and CDM Regulations
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with project teams and external stakeholders
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and other relevant design software
