Associate Director Civil Engineering
Looking for a new opportunity to lead a Civil Engineering team in Birmingham? Strata Consulting are working with a respected and ambitious multi-disciplinary consultancy in the centre of Birmingham, this is a regional office who are part of a national setup. They are looking to appoint a talented Associate Director to lead their Civils team in Birmingham.
The company already has a well-established Structures division and is looking for someone who can leverage both new and existing contacts, and transform the current Civils team to a high performing outfit. You will be the focal point and driving force of the Civil Engineering team - responsible for overseeing business development and project delivery.
Ideally, they are looking for an established Civil Engineer with a strong background delivering drainage and infrastructure projects in the residential, commercial, industrial, health and retail sectors to name a few. In addition to this, you will be confident being the face of the business, someone who is able to represent the company and lead their drive for growth.

Job Requirements/Experience
- Ten years' UK experience within a Civil Engineering design consultancy.
- Expert experience leading design and delivery of infrastructure and drainage projects, to both public and private sector clients.
- Proficient with MicroDrainage and Civil 3D, PDS, Flow, InfoDrainage and/or Site 3D.
- Strong working knowledge of Section 38 and 278, for highways.
- Strong working knowledge of Section 104 and 106 for drainage.
- Proven leadership skills - both recruiting experienced hires and developing Engineers.
- Have excellent communication skills both written & verbal.
- MEng or BEng in Civil Engineering (or equivalent)
- Ideally Chartered with the ICE
