Civil Engineer

Job Title: Civil EngineerLocation: SurreySalary: £30,000 - £35,000This company specialise in the recovery and reuse of wastes such as construction and demolition to create environmental enhancements on complex projects. The primary area of work is the creation of new parks and recreational facilities on closed landfill sites, remediation of contaminated sites and restoration of quarries. They take projects from inception, through feasibility, design and construction. This will be working in both the public and private sectors.The RoleWe are seeking a civil engineer to work full time as part of a small team. Duties to include:-Managing the construction of earthworks including capping and landscaping, installation of drainage, materials recovery and re-use, setting out and managing sub-contractorsContamination management including, soil sampling and leachate testingPreparing as built drawings and documents for discharge of planning conditions and recovery permitsAssist with preparation of details in support of prospective work including design and management of specialist sub-consultantsSills & Experience:

• Have a degree in Civil Engineering (or similar) with a knowledge of geotechnics, hydrology and hydrogeology
• A minimum of 2 years of previous experience of civil engineering as consultant or contractor
• Experience with a range of associated software packages
