Sub / Site Agent - Civil Engineering

About the role:

We are currently on a lookout for a strong Sub / Site Agent with TWC / CRE capabilities to work for a major contractor based in the South-West London area. Works will include AFA Upgrades across 3 separate Railway Stations in close proximity, so Network Rail project experience is essential for the position. Our clients have a large pipeline of future work and are looking for someone with extensive experience in the industry.

Salary:

Salary range would be largely dependent on the candidates' skills and experience between £50,000 - £60,000 + package.

Responsibilities:

• Attend meetings with Client, NR etc either with PM or on behalf of PM.
• Direct responsibility for the safety/environmental/sustainability standards of the works on the relevant sites.
• Responsible for the Quality and Assurance of the works
• Ownership of the budget and programme for each station (integrated into the overall project programme)
• Organisation and management of staff, operatives and plant (inc Subcontractors)
• Planning and integration into overall possession strategy and plan
• Implementation of BS11000 Collaborative Standard.

Expectations:

• Degree or HND in Civil Engineering
• Previous experience as a Senior Engineer / Sub Agent / Site Agent
• Rail project experience or at least an appreciation of Rail projects
• Ideally a valid PTS card
