The client we are working with is an established and well-respected Civil Engineering Firm who has a wide diversity of clients. They are looking for an experienced Civil Engineer to join their busy office in Birmingham. The right candidate will have a chance to work on a variety of projects for Commercial Developers, Private Equity Funds, Health Trust, National Trust, and Science sector.

The Civil Engineer we are looking for will have experience in:

• Flood risk assessment.
• Knowledge of storm and foul water drainage network design using MicroDrainage;
• Sustainable Urban Drainage Systems Design;
• Section 278/38 Highway design;
• Using design software such as: Civils 3D, MicroDrainage or Causeway Flow
• Ground Modelling/ Earthworks Design;

Applicants should have an BEng (or equivalent) Civil Engineering Degree.

Responsibilities for this role include:

• Preparing accurate calculations, high quality design drawings and reports;
• Communicating with local Authorities, suppliers, clients, contractors and other engineers within the company
• Presenting / representing your technical work (presentations / meetings);
• Delivering primary infrastructure for large housing estates and industrial sites
