My client, a specialist UK based Engineering Consultancy which specialises in Drainage, Civil and Flood Risk Engineering, is searching for a Senior Engineer to join an established team based in Inverness.
It is essential that applicants have a strong academic background in a relevant discipline including a BSc and/or MSc in Civil Engineering and experience working for a UK based Consultancy or Local Authority completing Flood Risk Assessments for planning applications, drainage strategies, drainage design using Microdrainage and general civil engineering design using AutoCAD.
Candidates are required to be confident Engineers who are happy to liaise with Clients and visit sites across The Highlands.
This exciting role will offer candidates the opportunity to join a team of experienced Engineers to work on varied Flood Risk, Surface Water, Drainage and Infrastructure Projects for Private Sector Clients, Water Companies and Local Authorities across the Highlands. You will also have the opportunity to manage projects, liaise with Clients and mentor team members.
Applicants will also be supported to complete the following;
-Flood Risk Assessments for flood zones 1,2 and 3.
-Surface Water Management Plans.
-Surface Water and Foul Drainage Strategies.
-Detailed Residential Drainage and Sewerage Design using AutoCAD and Microdrainage.
-Civil Engineering design using AutoCAD.
-Hydraulic Modelling using Flood Modeller.
