The Coconino County Community Development department is seeking a Hydrologist. The ideal candidate will have a working knowledge of the AZPDES storm water program and experience in floodplain and storm water management. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in hydrology, civil engineering, or a related field and three years of experience in hydrology, flood control or related field; OR Associate degree in hydrology, civil engineering, or a related field and four years of experience in hydrology, flood control or related field; OR Five years of experience in hydrology, flood control or related field; OR Any combination of education, training or experience which demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position. Preferred qualifications: Registration as a professional civil engineer. ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS: Must have or be able to obtain certification as a Certified Floodplain Manager within six months of hire. Must have or be able to obtain an Arizona driver's license by date of employment and maintain throughout employment.
