Sales Engineer - Renewable Energy
Our client design, supply and install the systems, including ground/air source heat pumps, under floor heating and solar PV.
They are now seeking an enthusiastic, hardworking Sales Engineer to join their rapidly growing team. The right candidate will undertake a business development role for both new installation and refurbishment projects. You will be working on a variety of projects, both domestic and commercial, in all aspects of renewable energy.
As a Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for the growth and development of company sales.
The main duties are likely to be focused around:
• Customers sales (both commercial and domestic)
• Providing quotes for customers, in conjunction with the company design department if complex
• Building customer relationships
• Advising on the integration of renewable technologies with other building services
• Contributing to decision making of project product specification/Company product specification.
Your overall responsibilities will encompass:
• Specification in co-operation with the design department of renewable energy systems, optimal solutions for commercial and domestic projects
• Large commercial projects, in conjunction with design department, assist in the management e.g. attending initial site meetings and planning installation programmes
• Liaise with new and existing clients and assist with the development of client relationships
• Contribute to the development of all company processes e.g. design guidelines, project planning processes, etc
• Familiarity/compliance with RECC, MCS, BUS, Building Regulations
Requirement:
Renewable experience or technical sales background
Other useful experiences/skills:
• Domestic Energy Assessment/Green Deal Assessor qualifications
• Good communication and presentation skills
• Good IT capability
• Strong customer focus
• Good organizational skills
• Capability of being a good team player who also has the ability to work under their own initiative
• Ability to work well under pressure
• Current, full driving license - must have own car
• Good project management skills, specification and report writing
