Quantity Surveyor - Civil Engineering

Hunter Mason's clientare currently recruiting for one of our larger civil engineering contractors. They are looking to expand their commercial team in Essex due to several project wins and a recently new framework agreement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Day-to-day administration of the commercial function of the project, i.e. cost management reporting and supporting, change management, procurement as well as sub-contract/special supplies administration.

• Deep understanding of the project's contractual and commercial requirements, including contractual compliance, quality and risk management.

• Thorough understanding and competent execution of the monthly reconciled values and updated forecasts for approval by the Commercial Manager/Senior Quantity Surveyor.

• Sound understanding around the valuations cycle and associated deadlines, prioritising and managing both your own as well as the team's time accordingly.

• Confidence and competency, with minimal input from the Commercial Manager/Senior Commercial Manager with dispute resolution and contractual entitlement.r commercial team in Essex due to several project wins and a recently new framework agreement.
