Principal Civil Engineer (Capital Improvement Projects)

The City of Poway is now accepting applications for the position of Principal Civil Engineer to oversee the Capital Improvement Projects Division. In addition to being an experienced professional, the Development Services Department is also looking for an adaptable, creative, and confident leader who believes deeply in the value of public service.

The Principal Civil Engineer will carry out administrative and technical engineering responsibilities and supervision of professional and technical consultants and staff required to successfully deliver high-quality capital improvement projects for the City. Poway maintains a Capital Improvement program that spans multiple years and currently has over 50 capital improvement projects in various stages of planning, design, and construction with a total of $80 million in appropriations.
