We are seeking an experienced Senior Structural Engineer with excellent leadership skills, for an established engineering consultancy in London.
Our client is a leading engineering and environmental consultancy operating in the UK and Irish markets. As a multi-disciplinary company, you will have the opportunity to work on a diverse range of exciting and challenging projects, and will join a close-knit team who will help you to strive in your role. Due to expansion, they are keen to bring in a Senior structural engineer which is a new role within the company. You will take responsibility for the design and management of your own range of projects, leading and developing the other engineers, coordinating the design team while also undertaking structural design models and drawings.

Key Responsibilities:
*
Oversee the design and build of projects.
*
Create budgets, and manage project planning/programming.
*
Control and review safety issues.
*
Lead and develop engineering team.
*
Collaborate with a range of internal stakeholders.
*
Attend meetings with clients, consultants and contractors during projects.
*
Ensure production of deliverables to agreed timelines.
Requirements:
*
Ideally 5-10 years' post-graduate experience in the design and management of structural engineering projects.
*
Chartered status or working towards chartership with a relevant professional body.
*
Good technical skills in all aspects of your engineering field.
*
Experience in leading, managing civil engineering design projects.
*
Experience of client and contractor interaction and engagement.
*
Excellent level of attention to detail and accuracy.
*
Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
