Junior Structural Engineer

Our client is currently recruiting for Graduate Structural Engineer to join their ever-expanding business. They are predominantly a business-to-business organisation that specialises in scaffold contracting, powered access and scaffolding hire and sales. The successful candidate will be joining the structural design team and will be mainly office based, with opportunity to attend site projects several times a week.

Responsibilities

* Apply engineering knowledge to analyse the structural integrity of scaffolding and temporary works structures ranging from simple hand calculation to second order frame analysis.

* Assess and design-out hazards where possible within the design process and propose effective control measures for the reduction and elimination of risk.

* Access and support scaffold design calculations

* Work with the design team and on-site staff to implement scaffold designs and works

* Liaise with individuals at all levels

* Office based role

* Other responsibilities to be discussed at interview stage

Requirements

* Recent Structural engineering graduate

* UK Resident (Essential)

* Some degree of site experience

* AutoCAD experience

* Based in the Midlands

* Temporary works in scaffolding experience not required but highly beneficial
