Profile: Our client is well established within the Legionella / Water hygiene industry and have a UK wide presence. They work hard to deliver high quality legionella / water hygiene services, across a mixed portfolio of sites. Due to an increase in contracts, they are now looking to take on a hardworking and motivated Water Hygiene Engineer / Remedial Plumber, the ideal candidate will hold extensive experience working as a Water Hygiene Engineer / Remedial Plumber on a mixed portfolio of sites, Undertaking Cleaning and chlorination on hot and cold water systems, Repairing, replacing and servicing TMVs and undertaking remedial plumbing works in line with company needs.
Applications will be considered from: Bolton, Warrington, Wigan, Bury, Liverpool, Birkenhead, Chester, Crewe, Blackpool, Blackburn, Lancaster, Burnley, Kendal, Carlisle, Rhyl, Llandudno, and Wrexham.
Experience & Qualifications:
" Will hold extensive experience working in the water hygiene industry and carrying out duties in line with ACOP L8 guidelines.
" Will ideally hold NVQ L2 or City and Guilds equivalent plumbing qualification.
" Will hold experience delivering remedial plumbing duties to a varied site base.
" Must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
" Proficient in using Microsoft office.
The Role:
" Carrying out cleaning and chlorination on both hot and cold wate systems and cooling towers.
" Undertaking analysis on closed systems and chemical dosing.
" Undertaking regular temperature monitoring, Sampling and analysis of water.
" Repairing, Replacing, and servicing TMV's and showerheads.
" Maintaining and installing dosing systems.
" Undertaking any remedial works requires.
" Building and maintaining good working relationships with clients.
" Ensuing that work is being carried out in line with relevant Health & Safety legislation and ACOP L8 guidelines.
