Hunter Mason's clientare currently recruiting for one of our larger civil engineering contractors. They are looking to expand their commercial team in Essex due to several project wins and a recently new framework agreement.
If you're a Civils Quantity Surveyor who is looking for a role and company that places client and operational partnerships at the forefront, this is an opportunity not to be missed.
Key Responsibilities:
• Day-to-day administration of the commercial function of the project, i.e. cost management reporting and supporting, change management, procurement as well as sub-contract/special supplies administration.
• Deep understanding of the project's contractual and commercial requirements, including contractual compliance, quality and risk management.
• Thorough understanding and competent execution of the monthly reconciled values and updated forecasts for approval by the Commercial Manager/Senior Quantity Surveyor.
• Sound understanding around the valuations cycle and associated deadlines, prioritising and managing both your own as well as the team's time accordingly.
• Confidence and competency, with minimal input from the Commercial Manager/Senior Commercial Manager with dispute resolution and contractual entitlement.r commercial team in Essex due to several project wins and a recently new framework agreement
