Senior Structural Engineer

You will be working aligned with a team of link-minded structural designers, analysing building structures playing a key role in the delivery of projects across the lifecycle of handover and beyond, ensuring the delivery of detailed, creative design drawings, specifications.

Your day to day of the role consists of:

- Structural design using apparent software, and materials in steel, concrete, reinforced concrete, masonry, and timber.

- Structural appraisals on domestic dwellings and commercial, healthcare, retail and buildings within the sector.

- Site Visits and Client Meetings

- Running own projects with an internal design team of supporting Engineers and CAD Technicians as required

- Mentoring Junior Staff

- Project reports and presentations

Essential Experience for the role:

- Relevant degree in Civil or Structural Engineering

- Chartership or near Chartership in Structural Engineering

- Previous experience with structural team leading or a successful/extensive project listing.

- Previous experties of the following: AutoCAD, Tekla, Revit,

- Fantastic understanding of CDM Regulations and designer's responsibilities.

- Exceptional planning and organizational skills
