An established civil and structural engineering consultancy, based in Cardiff, have an exciting new opportunity for a Structural Engineer to join their team on a 100% remote, permanent basis.

They are interested in candidates who are able to work both part-time and full-time.

You will get the chance to work as part of a close-knit team, working on projects predominately within the residential sector and designing in all common building materials. These projects are based around South Wales and Bristol.

** If your experience is a little light/ heavy, I would still be really keen to talk with you as there may be wiggle room for the right person, or I may have another opportunity more suited based in Cardiff! **

Essential requirements for this Structural Engineer role:

-At least 4 years+ experience of designing in all common structural materials, particularly steel and concrete ideally working for a UK based structural engineering consultancy

-You must have residential experience

-Strong communication skills

-A keen problem solver

-Ability to produce drawings and models using AutoCAD, Tekla & Robot

-You will be expected to live within easy commuting of Cardiff/ Bristol and have your own transport for site visits.

What you'll be doing:

-The role is extremely varied and includes running own projects, working with others on larger projects, developing own client relationships.

-Working across a variety of residential projects (domestic and larger scale housing)
