Aqua-Tech Recruitment are delighted to be working with a leading Engineering company who specialise in the water industry who are currently looking for a MEICA Commissioning Engineer to start immediately. This role will incur travel throughout Scotland including the Highlands and Islands.

As the Commissioning Engineer you will be part of the MEICA Delivery team who are responsible for the installation, delivery, commissioning and handover of all the MEICA elements of the clients portfolio of works in water and wastewater.

As the MEICA Commissioning Engineer your duties & responsibilities will include:

* The Commissioning Engineer will work alongside the Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality (SHEQ) department and other members of the project team and leadership to drive the delivery of projects to the highest standards

* Delivery of the MEICA commissioning elements to the agreed time, cost & quality requirements to support the MEICA Commissioning Manager and wider MEICA team

* The Commissioning Engineer will work closely with planning team to compile the MEICA commissioning programmes, to ensure that they align with the overall project programmes

* The Commissioning Engineer will produce project specific Commissioning Plans for the different project phases

* Compile and manage a comprehensive commissioning diary at each site and submit this diary to key stakeholders on an agreed regular basis for review

* The Commissioning Engineer will provide management of sub-contract labour on site, checking, appraising safe system of work documentation

Skills & Knowledge Requirements:

* Technically qualified to carry out the role of MEICA commissioning engineer

* Experience of working in the water industry

* Hold a technical qualification of a minimum of ONC

* Experience in Profibus would be beneficial

* Full understanding of WIMES

* Experience in Instrumentation Controls and Automation

* Understanding of SW telemetry systems

Additional Information

* This role will incur travel throughout Scotland including the Highlands and Islands. Travel and accommodation will be paid for by the client.
