STRUCTURAL ENGINEER
(Full Time - 37 Hours / week)
We are currently seeking an enthusiastic Structural Engineer, with relevant experience to join our client's leading multi-disciplinary consultancy practice in a full-time role at their office in Exeter.
Working predominantly from their Exeter office, the successful Structural Engineer will have the opportunity to work on a wide variety of projects of varying scale and in a variety of sectors. This will involve working closely with Senior Engineers and CAD Technicians to deliver projects. The varied nature of the works provides excellent opportunities for the candidate to work towards incorporated or chartered membership of the ICE or IStructE and they will receive mentoring and support from the Senior Engineers and Directors to facilitate their progression.
The role will include undertaking structural inspections, preparation of calculations and details, attendance at project meetings and report writing.

The candidate must have:
- BEng/MEng Civil/Structural Engineering Qualification
- Post graduate design experience within a UK consultancy
- Design experience using Eurocodes and British Standards
- Experience in the structural design of reinforced concrete, steelwork, timber, and masonry * Ability to work independently and as part of a team to deliver multiple project designs
- Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills with colleagues, clients and other design team members
- Be responsible for directing CAD Technicians to produce the appropriate level of design information required
- Be working towards achieving Chartered Engineer status
- Auto Cad experience
- A full UK driving licence and access to their own transport
