The company undertake a diverse and exciting range of Engineering projects within the Building, Highways & Transportation, Land Development, Rail and Water & Environment.

In this role you will be you will be part of the Water Sector Team providing design expertise in collaboration with major UK companies across the country including South West Water, Severn Trent Water, Wessex Water, Thames Water, Southern Water, United Utilities and Yorkshire Water. You will be working on non infrastructure water related projects often involving pump stations, treatment works and reservoirs. Experience in these areas would be greatly appreciated however they are willing to train experienced engineers in these sectors.
The ideal candidate will be a Civil Engineer with at least 3 years consultancy experience working on water projects and who wants to progress their career in a highly successful and busy firm who supports continued training and progression for their staff.

The Role:
- Technical and design work for large water projects
- Working closely with in house team as well as clients and project stakeholders in completing interesting and diverse project
- Supervise and delegate to other members of staff as required
- Check / approve own and other staff work, including third party design proposals
- Take a leading role in promoting health, safety, welfare and sustainability/environmental matters in all areas of your work
- Collate plans and schedules and monitor work to meet deadlines, company quality assurance and other requirement
- Liaise and engage with clients and third parties as required
The person:
- Civil Engineering Degree or equivalent time served experience
Ideally Chartered (ICE or similar)
- 3 years relevant experience minimum working on water projects
- Excellent communication skills to coordinate with external consultants and internal colleagues
